Lark Rise to Candleford comes to Alan Bearman Music
With viewing figures that peaked at 12 million for a single episode, the recent BBC series has sparked a huge interest
in the life and times so beatifullyportrayed in dramatisation of Flora Thompson's book Lark Rise to Candleford.
Led by Ashley Hutchings (Fairport convention, Steeleye Span, The Albion Band), the new Lark Rise Band have produced
a live show and album that are getting rave reviews. With the BBC planning a 2008 Christmas Special and a second series due in
January 2009, a Lark Rise Band concert is guaranteed to be a hit as they present music, words, dance and song from the book,
plays and television series in celebration of a lost way of life so memorably captured by Flora Thompson.
We currently have some specific dates to fill for some of our Artists as well as tour periods we are currently booking.

Christmas Champions ~ Chris Wood and Hugh Lupton's fantastic Christmas Champions will be touring over the festive period in December 2008.

Lau are currently on a tour of the UK. Their new album, Lau Live is now out on Navigator Records.
This BBC Radio 2 Folk Award winning 'Best Group' are more in demand than ever and drawing fantastic audiences.

As announced in our previous mailout, we are absolutely delighted to welcome Catriona Macdonald to the Roster.
Catriona is a proud bearer of one of the world's great fiddle traditions, that of the Shetland Isles.
The band features a fantastic line- up featuring Conrad Ivitsky on Bass,
James Macintosh (Shooglenifty) on Drums & Percussion, and David Milligan (Unusual Suspects) on Piano.
We now have dates available between 20th- 26th October 2008.
